Arrive, Relax & Meet the Crew

Sailing: 4 Nautical Miles (1 Hour)

Arrive at St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) and transfer to Marina Fort Louis, Marigot. 

  • Activities: Explore Marigot’s vibrant streets, enjoy French and Creole cuisine, hike to Fort Louis for island views.

Day Two
Sail to Orient Beach & Île Tintamarre

Sailing: 4 Nautical Miles (1 Hour)

Orient Beach, located on the northeastern coast of St. Martin, is a lively destination renowned for its stunning white sands and crystal-clear waters. This popular beach is perfect for water sports enthusiasts, offering activities such as windsurfing, parasailing, and jet skiing. Enjoy the secluded Île Tintamarre which offers nature lovers sanctuary when exploring the unspoiled beaches and snorkel spots. Explore the island by foot or with 2 of HQ2’s e-bikes.

Day Three
Brief Stop in Marigot & Onward to Anguilla

Sailing: 

  • 9 Nautical Miles (1 ½ hours) to Marigot Bay for a brief stop
  • 13 Nautical Miles (2 Hours) to Sandy Ground, Anguilla

Sandy Ground got its name from the stretch of ground between the salt pond and the road bay water. Experience the energy in this town with its busy night life, hustle and bustle of local fisherman and the Anguilla Sailing Association. Guests can enjoy its crystal blue waters which on some days can be quiet and still and others with music and the smell of BBQ filling the air for boat races or other events. 

Day Four
Snorkelling & Powder-White Sands

Sailing: 

  • 6 Nautical Miles (1 Hour) to Prickly Pear Cay
  • 10 Nautical Miles (2 Hours) to Rendezvous Bay for the Night
Take a dip to see the vibrant coral life and confident swimmers can explore the infamous caves. Enjoy a family styles lunch at the Prickly Pear Cay restaurant. 

Rendezvous is perhaps on of the best beaches to take a late afternoon / sunset stroll with its breathtaking view of St. Martin. Ask Chef for a glass of wine and a specially packed picnic snack while the kids play with a frisbee on the beach.
Day Five
Planes, Cocktails and Beautiful Beaches

Sailing: 11 Nautical Miles Back to Simpson Bay (2 Hours)


Experience the thrill of St. Maarten’s nightlight, word-class cocktails and dining on the shores of Simpson Bay. Do not miss the planes taking off in Maho Bay beach where guests can be blasted by the powerful jet engines of the nearby airport or take a the iconic St. Maarten plane photo as you drink cocktails/bucket of beers on the beach from Mary Boon’s Beach Bar. 

Want to party harder? Experience St. Maarten’s Soggy Dollar, a Dark ‘n Stormy at the Sins Maarten Yacht Club or even visit the clubs off Kim She beach. 

Day Six
St. Barts Explored

Sailing: 17 Nautical Miles (3 Hours) to Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy

 

This French-speaking island renowned for its beautiful beaches, luxurious ambiance and high-end dining and shopping. Gustavia, the capital, is a charming harbour town with red-roofed buildings, a bustling port and an array of boutiques, restaurants and historical sites. 

 

Take a short walk to explore the harbour area, soaking in the lively atmosphere and scenic views. Visit the Wall House Museum to learn about the islands history. Relax on shell beach and snorkel its unique shell-covered shoreline and crystal waters. Head to Eden Rock, one of the islands iconic luxury hotels for a gourmet lunch featuring fresh seafood and French-Caribbean fusion dishes. 

 

Explore Colombier beach by boat for an epic snorkel or with a short hike. End your day off with a cocktail in hand taking in this Caribbean gem. 

Day Seven
Sint Maarten

Sailing: 14 Nautical Miles (2 ½ hours) to Phillipsburg, Sint Maarten.

 

Take a leisurely walk along the beachside boardwalk and shop duty-free goods, local crafts and souvenirs. Visit historical sites such as the Courthouse and Fort Amsterdam. 

 

For Watersport enthusiasts where you can swim in the turquoise waters or try watersports such as wakeboarding, tubing or for those who like paddle board or float in a tube behind the back of HQ2 with a cocktail there is something for everyone in this picturesque town. 

 

Day eight
Farewell from Paradise

The HQ2 Crew is always sad to see guests go, but this is where they disembark at a marina and get their transfer back to Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM).
